Holiday Inn Resort, Bandarban, Bangladesh

Holiday Inn Resort is situated opposite to Meghla Parjatan Complex in Bandarban. This Resort is located 5 Kilometers before entering the Bandarban ( Bandarban- Keranihat road) district town. Holiday Inn Resort is maintained by district administration. This Resort is distinguished for its good location and pleasant hospitality. This Resort has a Garden, terrace, free WiFi and a Restaurant. On one side of the Resort is a beautiful lake when an open field on the other side. The name of the Restaurant is “Lake View Restaurant” in the Resort.

There are 5 types of rooms in this Resort. There are different name of those 6 types of rooms. They are- “Chandrima”, “Aurjuntala”, “Lake Lovers”, “Kewkradong”, “Chimbuk” & “Family Suite”.

Below is some information about those rooms:-

1. Chandrima: Chandrima is a two-storied (Duplex) house. Its first floor and ground floor has 2 couple beds . This duplex can accommodate 2+2=4 peoples. This room will cost be TK.6000 for per night.
2. Aurjuntala: Aurjuntala is a two-storied building. It has 6 rooms. There are different names in those rooms like A-1, A-2, A-3, A-4, A-5, A-6. A-1 & A-2 is VIP rooms and those rooms can accommodate 2+1=3 persons. Those VIP rooms will cost be TK.7000 for per night. A-3 to A-6 rooms category is twin. Those rooms can accommodate 1+1=2 peoples.  Those rooms will cost be TK.3000 for per night.
3. Lake Lovers: There are 2 couple rooms in Lake Lovers section. There are different name in those rooms like W-1 & W-2. Those rooms are perfect for honeymoon suite for couple. Those rooms have a separate Balcony over the lake. Those rooms can accommodate 1+1=2 peoples. Those rooms will cost be TK.3000 for per night.
4. Kewkradong: Kewkradong has 3 rooms named K-1, K-2, K-3. Those rooms category are couple bed. Those rooms can accommodate 1+1=2 peoples. Those rooms will cost beTK.3000 per night.
5. Chimbuk: Chimbuk has 2 rooms named C-1 & C-2. Those rooms can accommodate 2+1=3 peoples. Those rooms will cost be TK.4000 for per night.
6. Family Suite: Family Suite can accommodate 10 peoples. This suite will cast be TK.7000 for per night.

All rooms are cottage type system in this Resort. The rooms in the Resort are fitted with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom. For extra bed you will cost TK.500 and for extra double bed you will cost TK.1000 for per room. Each room has a separate balcony.

Holiday Inn Resort is built in a natural environment. Each room of the resort has AC, hot water system and room amenities (free parking, kids zone, spacious playground and live BBQ .

The Lake View Restaurant is very popular restaurant in Bandarban for tourists and the local peoples. There are so many food items in this restaurant. All the items of food were served on the banana leaves in this restaurant. You can enjoyed candle light dinner in the field of the Resort (restaurant).  Badminton can be played at night at the resort ground. It is arranged by the Resort Authorities.

How to go Holiday Inn Resort:

At first, you can go to Bandarban from Dhaka. You can come to this Resort by private car from anywhere in the country. Private car parking can be arranged at an extra charge.  You can also come to Bandarban by bus/ train/air.

Dhaka to bandarban By Bus: Many bus companies are provided services of travelling Dhaka to Bandarban such as Eagle, S. Alam, Shanti, Shyamoli, Saudia, Saint Martin etc Paribahans AC & non AC service are available in this route. Those buses fare are TK. 550 top 1200.

Dhaka to Chittagong by Train: There are so many train services departs from Kamalapur , Dhaka for Chittagong. The intercity train Subarna Express, Mohanagar Provati, Karnaphuli Express, Mohanagar Goduli, Sonar Bangla Express, Turna Express etc are available for Chittagong. The fare of those trains is TK.160-1093.

Dhaka to Chittagong by air:  From Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport- Biman Bangladesh, United air, Regent Air, Novo Air and US Bangla Air fly daily to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong. The fare of those air is TK.300-8000.

Chittagong to Bandarban by bus: You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong. Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses run from Baddarhat to Bandarban. These buses are rented at TK. 200- 150 for per person.

After reaching at Bandarban Town ( Bandarban bus station) to Holiday Inn Resort, you have to reserve Chander Gari (Jeep)/ Auto rickshaw/CNG.
