Meghla Parjatan Complex is situated 5 kilometers before entering the Bandarban town. This place is located on the Bandarban- Keranihat road. This place is most popular tourist spots in Bandarban. Tourist are coming from all over the country. Meghla Parjatan Complex is a neighboring area of the Bandarban hill district council on the gateway of Bandarban. This place is maintained by district administration.

However what makes this place different and unique from the other tourist spots is that it has two hanging bridges. There are also a zoo, an artificial lake and paddle boat at the bottom of the hill, children’s park, cable car etc in Meghla Parjatan Complex. Here you can see the green natural beauty of the hills and the clean water of the lake are constantly drawing tourists closer to nature.

Inside this spot there are small shops of hill tribes. The Variety of Burmese foods are available at these shops.  The hill people also sell various hill seasonal fruits here. Tea is also available in some shops. The feeling of seeing the mountains while drinking tea is very beautiful.  In the middle of this tourist spot there are some white hills which are different from other hills.

Meghla Parjatan  Complex’s entry fee TK.20 per person and car parking fee TK. 150-200.

How to go Bandarban:

Dhaka to bandarban By Bus: At first, you can go to Bandarban from Dhaka by Bus. Many bus companies are provided services of travelling Dhaka to Bandarban such as Eagle, S. Alam, Shanti, Shyamoli, Saudia, Saint Martin etc Paribahans AC & non AC service are available in this route. Those buses fare are TK. 550 top 1200.

Dhaka to Chittagong by Train: There are so many train services departs from Kamalapur , Dhaka for Chittagong. The intercity train Subarna Express, Mohanagar Provati, Karnaphuli Express, Mohanagar Goduli, Sonar Bangla Express, Turna Express etc are available for Chittagong. The fare of those trains is TK.160-1093.

Dhaka to Chittagong by air:  From Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport- Biman Bangladesh, United air, Regent Air, Novo Air and US Bangla Air fly daily to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong. The fare of those air is TK.300-8000.

Chittagong to Bandarban by bus: You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong. Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses run from Baddarhat to Bandarban. These buses are rented at TK. 200- 150 for per person.

After reaching at Bandarban Town ( Bandarban bus station) to Meghla Parjatan Complex, you have to reserve Chander Gari (Jeep)/ Auto rickshaw/CNG.

Where will you stay?

Meghla Parjatan Complex is very near to Bandarban town so that you can easily back to Bandarban town at night and stay at various hotels in Bandarban town. There are so many hotels, Motels, cottages or resorts in Bandarban. They are- Sairu Hill Resort, Holiday Inn Resort, Hillside Resort, Hotel Plaza, Venus Resort PVs Ltd, Fanush Resort, Bono Nibash Hill Resort, Nilachol Nilambori Resort, Hotel Night Heaven, Hotel Hillton etc.  According to your budget you will find both cheap and expensive options to stay in those hotel, motels ,resorts and cottages.

Meghla Parjaton Complex has a beautiful rest house of the district administration. There are some rooms in this rest house.  The Air conditioned deluxe room with two beds in Meghla Motel costs 2500 taka.  Royal Suite room, air conditioned and double bed is cost  4300 taka. Air conditioned twin bed rooms are 1800 taka, and non ac twin beds and economy rooms are 1030 and 300 taka respectively. Anyone can call for booking for the rooms- 0361-62741, 0361-62742.

Where do you eat?

Near around This tourist spot, you will find a lot of restaurants to eat as the place is just 5 km away from town. There are some famous hotels to eat in Bandarban. There are also food services available in Parjatan motels. There are 2 restaurants in Meghla Resort which serves local food items and Chinese food items at a reasonable price.
