Nilachal Parjatan Complex is very popular tourist center in Bandarban and it is located on the hill about 2000 feet high near the city of Bandarban. Locals call it a area of paradise. It is maintained by the district administration. This spot is situated in Tiger Para area and just 5 km away from the city.
The whole city of Bandarban can be seen from the peak of this hill. Tourist can enjoy the magnificent view of Cox’s Bazar beach from Nilachol cloudless sky. Sunrise & sunset can be seen from here too. Nilachol is full of clouds in rainy & monsoon season. In this time clouds can be touched in your own hand. When you go to Nilachol, you will see different types of houses of hill tribes.
A few new places have recently been created in this spot. Starting from the “Jhulonto Nila” a few more restrooms have been built gradually downwards. Notable among these are the “Niharika” & “Valentine point”. Those places are completely different from other. Those places are arranged on the slopes of the hills. From Nilachol you can enjoy the beauty of the mountains better.
Ticket Price:
Nilachol Parjatan Complex’s entry fee is TK.50 per person. You have to pay road toll to go to Nilachol is TK.30 for Auto Rickshaw/CNG and TK.60 for Chander Gari (Jeep).
Nilachol Nilambori Resort:
There is a resort in Nilachol named Nilachol Nilambori Resort. This resort is main attraction of Nilachol. The number of cottage in this resort is 6. Each cottage with blue roof has two rooms with couple bed. Each room has its own name. The names are- ‘Jibon Nir’, ‘Pothik Romeo’, ‘Alosh Gaan’, ‘Moner Rajjo’, ‘Tara Vora Raat’ & ‘Chader Alo’. If these Bangali names are translated into English- ‘Life Nest’, ‘Traveler Romeo’, ‘Lazy Song’, ‘Kingdom of Mind’, ‘Star Filled Night’, & ‘Moonlight’’. One room can accommodate 2-4 people. If there are more than people, you will have to charge extra TK.500 for each bed. The rent of each couple room is TK.3000 & the rent of the whole cottage is TK.6000. The resort consists of a vast area. Each room has open balconies on either side. From the open balconies you can see the green hills as far as you can see during the day and if you look at the night sky, you will see millions of twinkling stars.
The Resort has a restaurant called Nilachal Forest Hill Restaurant. In this restaurant you will find traditional hill food of Bandarban with various local dishes. Rice, Pulses, Alu Vatta (Mashed potato), Sutki (dried fish), Vegetables, Chicken, Fish & some Bamboo dishes are also available. Large group meals are also organized here at the same time. You will even get extra arrangements from the restaurant authorities to celebrate any special day or birthday.

How to go?
Dhaka to Bandarban By Bus: At first, you can go to Bandarban from Dhaka by Bus. Many bus companies are provided services of travelling Dhaka to Bandarban such as Eagle, S. Alam, Shanti, Shyamoli, Saudia, Saint Martin etc Paribahans AC & non AC service are available in this route. Those buses fare are TK. 550 top 1200.
Dhaka to Chittagong by Train: There are so many train services departs from Kamalapur , Dhaka for Chittagong. The intercity train Subarna Express, Mohanagar Provati, Karnaphuli Express, Mohanagar Goduli, Sonar Bangla Express, Turna Express etc are available for Chittagong. The fare of those trains is TK.160-1093.
Dhaka to Chittagong by air: From Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport- Biman Bangladesh, United air, Regent Air, Novo Air and US Bangla Air fly daily to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong. The fare of those airs are TK.3000-8000.
Chittagong to Bandarban by bus: You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong. Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses run from Baddarhat to Bandarban. These Bus fare is TK. 150 – 200 (approx.) for per person.
Bandarban to Nilachal Parjatan Complex: First you have to go to Bandarban city. To go to Nilachal Parjatan Complex, you have to hire a jeep/ Auto Rickshaw/ CNG from Bandarban town.
